MALAYSIAN PRIMARY SCHOOL ENGLISH LANGUAGE CURRICULUM & TEACHING METHODS FOR ENGLISH CLASSROOM

I had an oppurtunity to present Malaysian Primary School English Language Curriculum in South Korea to the Native speakers from America and Korean School English teacher. This workshop was organized by Gandwondo Education Office. This workshop was participate by 20 native speakers, 10 Korean English Teacher and Education officers.



 I had started my presentation with Malaysian Education Blueprint. I'm proudly shared that our English Subject Curriculum was benchmarked with other countries and founded Malaysia English Language Curriculum has addressed local needs and has benchmarked with international standards by Ministry of Education. Our English Language Curriculum is on par with other countries.  I had shared about Malaysian English Languange Curriculum and how it is designed. I also talked about the modular approach which is the base for the disignning of the curriculum.

The second presentation was about the teaching methods and strategies in English Classroom. I shared  a lot strategies and methods for English Classroom with many examples. The teachers was impressed with the presentation and the teaching methods in Malaysia. Other then that, i also shared about Ministry of Education programme speacially to develop English in school such as Highly Immersive Programme and so on.
